JOANN is my go-to for events like this; not only do they carry crafting items but supplies for parties too. I recently received a Cricut machine from JOANN (my exact one HERE), and I couldn’t wait to try it out for this centerpiece. I also found at JOANN a wide range of greenery, craft paper, markers/pens, mason jars, paper straws, and string lights.

Table Runner

I used brown Kraft paper as a wide table runner. Then, I draped a linen curtain across the top of it for added dimension and a soft texture.

I then weaved and tucked the spring garland through the linen fabric. To top it off, I added battery-powered string lights.

Table Setting

For the place settings, I just layered ceramic dinner plates and salad plates and topped them off with linen cloth napkins. I used seagrass napkin rings I had on hand to hold the napkins.

A cute way to spread greenery to your table setting? Add a sprig of the garland on top of the cloth napkin.

For the cutlery, I used some rose gold pieces I already had on hand. You could use whatever your everyday silverware is easy with this look.

Mason jars are a casual vessel to use for tablescapes and I loved the way they looked for this graduation table.

Personalization Graduate-Specific Elements

Using my new Cricut, I made two different-sized graduation caps.

First, I created the small-sized caps, and just placed them randomly all over the table.

Second, I created larger-sized caps and tucked them into the individual table settings. Each attendee’s name was written with a sharpie across the middle.

I love how they turned out!

Tabletop Globe

“Oh, the places you’ll go”…we are all familiar with this quote! As a graduate, a globe symbolizes this mantra for them.

To create a color-coded look, you can always spray paint your tabletop globe.

Candles

For added ambient lighting, I simply placed two taper candles in glass candlesticks I had on hand.

Candles create a warm and welcoming feel while elevating a table setting too.
